Head of Spokane Washington NAACP Rachel Dolezal Is A Poser

When I first heard this story, I laughed. The reason why, it seem to me another white person trying to be down with the African-American culture. We see it in the media, white woman getting fat injected in their lips and butts. Laying out in the sun or spray tanning to make their skin darker. Don’t let me get started with the young white male. They think just because they dress like or talk like their favorite Rapper, they have the African-American flavor and are down with the black experience. Rachel Dolezal went around portraying, that she was African-American for years. Let’s say she was biracial, it would have been alright because at least she had some African-American in her. It doesn’t matter if she started identifying herself as African-American at a young age. I blame her parents, they dropped the ball. As soon as she started drawing herself with a brown crayon, they should have put a stop to it. Instead they let it go on and helped her perpetrate a lie for years. She did not say anything about her being discriminated against as an African-American women. You can believe that African-American woman are discriminated against and have been for years. Rachel said she was discriminated against as a white woman. Rachel Dolezal will never really know what it is to be a true African-American woman, even though she had been faking it for years. The struggles that African-American women endured for centuries, is not something to take lightly. I feel Rachel Dolezal did just that by portraying herself as African-American woman. For all the people who knew shame on you too.

2015 NBA World Champions Golden State Warriors Done After 40 Years

In my blog on June 5, 2015 I said, “Are the Warriors hungry enough, to pull off a championship? I said yes, all they have to do is win their first 2 home games. Don’t let the Cavaliers win any games in Oracle and keep home court advantage.” Well, it didn’t go that way. The warriors won game 1 by 8 points, lost game 2 by 2 points and lost game 3 by 4 points. Everyone started doubting, that the Warriors could come back from being down 2 games to 1. I kept saying, that they barley won game 2 and 3. The Warriors tied the series in game 4 and won by 21. My husband said “the Warriors can beat the Cavaliers and are going to beat the Cavaliers 3 games straight and win the championship in Cleveland.” He was right. Game 5 was a 13 point win for the Warriors. After the Warriors beat the Cavaliers in game 5, the interview with LeBron James and his big-headed self said “I feel confident because I’m the best player in the world,” and “I know I’m shouldering a lot of the burden, but it is what it is.” I think he cursed himself and his team by being so arrogant. Ok, he may think he’s the best player in the world but he can’t do it by himself. Basketball is a team sport and you have to have a supporting cast in order to win. Just like Michael Jordan, he was the best player when he started but without a supporting cast and he didn’t win. I think Steph Curry is the best player in the world, because he has that supporting cast. In game 6 the Golden State Warriors out of Oakland California won by 8 points, winning the NBA title after 40 years. In my opinion Steve Kerr and his coaching staff are geniuses, for starting Andre Iguodala in the last 2 games. Everyone on the Warriors contributed to the team winning this NBA title and having a historic season. It is hard to go wire to wire and win a title. For all you hater’s that said a jump shooting team can never win a title. I’m just saying, #DUBSNO! Oakland California as well as the whole state of California and world were watching one of the best NBA finals in a long time. If you missed it, you missed some fantastic games. Congratulations 2015 Golden State Warriors NBA Champions!

It took 40 years for the Golden State Warriors to get to the NBA Finals

If someone asked me six years ago, who is your favorite NBA team? I would have said “I don’t have one anymore since Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls.” About five years ago, my husband was watching a NBA game on TV. That was on October 28, 2009 the teams that were playing was Warriors and the Rockets. I remember that day because it was my second birthday, I mean the day two years prior that I received my kidney transplant. When my husband watches sports, he’s real vocal. All I heard from the other room was “OOO! That boy is bad! And honey you have to see this.” I walked into the room sat down started watching the game and was hooked. He was talking about Stephen Curry’s debut game into the NBA. He had been following Stephen Curry since he was in college and had said “if he goes into the NBA he is going to great”. Oh! Boy he is something special.

Well it’s on! Thursday June 4, 2015 at 6 p.m. the Golden State Warriors of Oakland California vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers. It has been 40 years since the Warriors have won a championship. Are the Warriors hungry enough, to pull off a championship? I say yes. All they have to do is win their first 2 home games. Don’t let the Cavaliers win any games in Oracle and keep home court advantage. The Warriors basketball team may be small in size compared to the Cavalier’s but they are big at heart. Their defense is fantastic and their bench is deep. O! Yea! We have those guys, I’m talking about the splash brothers Stephen and Klay. Don’t forget the other guys Draymond, Harrison and Andrew. The bench players can also pick up the slack when the starting 5 are not shooting well. This is going to be one of the best series in my opinion, since the Chicago Bulls first win in 1991. Oakland California and the whole state of California along with the world will be glued to their TV sets for the NBA finals. You don’t what to miss this, it’s going to be fantastic.

UPDATE 1st Game of the Finals:  Cavaliers 100 Warriors 108
