City of San Jose Population One Million

I remember riding with my parents on north bound 101 and seeing nothing but frames of houses under construction on the east side of San Jose. I was truly amazed. I said to my self this place is going to be big one day. When I caught the bus to San Jose to enroll at San Jose City College 1973 I remember arriving at the Greyhound Bus Station to an eerie deserted downtown. Catching a red and yellow Peerless Bus, I traveled down unto a finished part of 280 that was still under construction . I thought wow this pace is going to be big. Working in technology while I was in college I saw the beginnings of Intel and Apple and worked for both these companies. The spirit of invention was everywhere and I wanted to be a part of it.2009 San Jose is a beautiful place with beautiful people. And I still see a bright future for the largest city in the Bay Area and Northern California. Congratulations San Jose.
