Tragic Greyhound Bus Accident On Highway 101 At Northbound Highway 85 Turnoff In San Jose

I woke up yesterday thinking this is sleeping weather. While I lay there listening to the down pour of rain not wanting it hit me. I had too because I had so many things to do. I turned on the news like I always do and heard that a Greyhound bus had crashed. Among the injured and deceased was one man seriously injured, nine others with minor injuries including the driver and two women were killed. I could only imagine how the passengers felt. To be so close to your destination after a long bus ride and not to get there because of a crash is frightening.

At 6:38 a.m. on January 19, 2016 a Greyhound bus coming from Los Angeles crashes in San Jose. The bus final destination was supposed to be Oakland. The roads were wet from the down pour of rain when the Greyhound bus approached the Highway 85 turnoff on northbound 101. A driver that was behind the bus saw the bus change lanes. Then unexpectedly the bus struck the impact barrels at the divider and landed on its side, the driver told CHP Officers. Officer Chris Miceli with the Hollister-Gilroy CHP office, said the Greyhound bus driver recalled "striking the median barrier and then the next thing he remembered was the bus at rest on its side and that's about all he could tell us." An investigation into what happened is underway. The two women who died were ejected out of the buses front window. According to CHP the bus had seat belts. I wonder why the two women were not wearing seat belts or were they and the belts failed?

What this meant for the people who commuted from Hollister, Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Martin on highway 101 northbound? Serious delays on all the connecting highways and roadways. I work for Streetwise Special Delivery Courier Service out of Gilroy as a dispatcher and the driver that was dispatched from Gilroy was delayed 2 hours for his pickups and deliveries. All the other commuters decided to take alternate routes and alternate routes were clogged as well.

My prayers go out to the families of the two women who lost their lives and to the others who were injured.

San Jose Resident Esteban Sanchez Arrested for Hit and Run of Pregnant Woman in Morgan Hill

New Year’s Day 2014 was supposed to be a new beginning for all. That was not the case for two people in Morgan Hill California. About 2:30 p.m. according to authorities, Esteban Sanchez was driving on East Dunne Avenue in Morgan Hill under the influence. He crashed his Mazda 3 into a pregnant woman’s car and drove off. Then he proceeded crash into a fire hydrant at Butterfield Boulevard at Barrett Avenue. He fled his car and ran into an industrial area of Caputo Drive where the police arrested him. Why in the world was he still driving? He had four previous arrests for suspicion of driving under the influence. What are the authorities waiting for someone to die? They should have taken this menace off the street after his second D.U.I. He is in custody without bail and is due in court on Monday January 6^th. As for the pregnant woman there is no information on how she is doing. I pray that her baby and she are doing well. 23 year old Esteban Sanchez of San Jose should never be permitted to drive a vehicle again. He is a danger to everyone on the road drivers and pedestrians alike. 33 year old Women Stole $26,000 From Storage Locker in Morgan Hill, CA

When I heard on the news that Darla Dominguez of San Martin, California was arrested on suspicion for selling some items she stole from a storage locker in Morgan Hill California at a garage sale in San Martin. I got a good laugh! I thought how dumb and what the heck was she smoking. On June 11, 2013 around 8 p.m. Darla broke in this storage locker at 18025 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, taking more than $26,000 worth of stuff. Investigators went to Darla’s home in San Martin the next town over searched it and found multiple items taken from the locker. They also found a trailer which had been reported stolen in a separate case. I think she wanted to get caught because to sell something you stole at a garage sale has to be one of the stupidest things never. Somebody probably saw something she was selling thought it was stolen and called the authorities. You never know who will show up at a garage sells.

Morgan Hill’s Antolin Garcia-Torres Arrested for Kidnap and Murder of Sierra LaMar

Authorities arrested Morgan Hill’s Antolin Garcia-Torres on May 21, 2012, for the kidnap and murder of Sierra LaMar. Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar went missing on her way to school on March 16, 2012. The authorities had Antolin Garcia-Torres under-surveillance since March 28, 2012. They were gathering evidence and hoping he would lead authorities to her body. The authorities strongly believe that Sierra LaMar is dead. Authorities and volunteer are continuing to look for her body. On May 23, 2012 divers were looking in Uvas Reservoir in Santa Clara County. With the all DNA evidence against Antolin Garcia-Torres, his sister is saying "they don't have enough evidence to convict him." If it they did not have enough evidence, why was his DNA found on her clothes in the Juicy backpack and Sierra’s DNA found in his car? Did they know each other? Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith said they have no evidence that knew each other. Antolin Garcia-Torres’s DNA was in the system, because of an assault back in March 2009. In 2009 there were three assaults at the Safeway parking lot 840 E. Dunne Ave. in Morgan Hill. The suspect would enter women’s car through the drivers-side rear door. One woman said her attacker used a Taser gun to stun her, authorities believed the attacker was the same in all three cases. If this was Antolin Garcia-Torres attacking women back in 2009 it is a shame that he was not arrested back then he would have been off the streets and Sierra would have probably been a live today. As the authorities continue to search for Sierra’s body, I just hope they have the right sick S.O.B. off the streets. My prayers go out to the LaMar family.

ASSAULT ON WOMEN JOGGERS IN MORGAN HILL

It is a shame that women can’t go out jogging without some pervert trying to sexually assault or kill them. Just this past Monday morning about 6:15am  in Morgan Hill a 45 year old women was jogging on Mission View Road near Half Road a man grabbed her from behind sexually assaulted her and ran away like to coward he was. The only description of this man is, he is about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 130 to 150 pounds. He spoke English with a slight Spanish accent and was wearing dark hooded sweatshirt dark baggy pants.

Ladies this scenario has been going on for a long time, you can’t go out jogging alone anymore, because you don’t know when and where some sick pervert will jump out of the bushes and attack you. I say Ladies if you must go jogging alone carry some kind of weapon, so you can hurt the sick pervert. Stay safe ladies.
